Prime Minister Igor Lukšić met the representatives of organizations of persons with disabilities, and the meeting was followed by an agreement amending the Decision on the establishment of the Council for the care of persons with disabilities.

The decision will be amended in order to re-establish the Council for the care of persons with disabilities, which represents the most appropriate organizational model that will ensure the protection and promotion of rights of persons with disabilities.

The issues of relevance for the protection of the rights and quality operation of the associations were discussed at the meeting, which was attended by representatives of Union of the Blind People, Associations of Youth with Disabilities, Union of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing People, Paraplegic Association and Union of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Disabilities "Our Initiative" Podgorica.
