Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Zorica Kovačević visited the Union of Associations of Parents of Children and Youth with Disabilities "Our Initiative" Podgorica.

During the visit, the topic was the problems of children and youth with disabilities and their families in the field of child and social protection.

Minister Kovačević put forward solutions to specific problems that will lead to simplification of procedures for the exercise of certain rights, and that could contribute to the overall improvement of the position of this population.

The implementation of the Law on Social and Child Protection and the Law on Travel Benefits of Persons with Disabilities were subjects of the meeting as well.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the NGO Association of Parents of Children and Youth with Disabilities Podgorica and presidents of local associations from the composition of the Union "Our Initiative".

This meeting was another proof of the good cooperation between Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and the Union "Our Initiative" and local organizations from the its composition.
